Halifax is one of the best connected towns in the north of England. It lies within easy reach of Bradford, Leeds, Manchester and Sheffield. The nearby M62 motorway stretches across the Pennines from Liverpool to Hull. That makes Halifax a fantastic base for anyone doing business in the area. You can commute to most major northern cities in less than an hour.
Halifax is also handy for getting to some gorgeous countryside. Walkers, ramblers and cyclists are spoiled for choice. To north lies the stunning Yorkshire Dales National Park. To the south, the Peak District National Park. Take your pick. Or take turns!
